My communications philosophy is "keep it simple." That doesn't mean writing down to your audience, but providing them with the essential information they need to do whatever it is you want them to do - whether to know something, to feel something, or to do something.
My experience spans writing, media relations, product launches, issues management and crisis communications, as well as special events in the private and public sectors.
Prior to starting Gleason Writes, I worked at Kodak, helping lead corporate, consumer and commercial business communications, including during the company’s successful Chapter 11 reorganization. Before that, I held top communications positions with elected officials at the state and local government levels.
I am a recipient of the 2012 Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 award, and have received local and national awards from the Public Relations Society of America.
