How's business? Are you ready with the content your company needs to survive and thrive during and after COVID-19?
Maybe it's a package of case studies (customer success stories) to demonstrate your expertise and results.
Or a downloadable lead magnet, such as an E-book or step-by-step guide, to build your email list and grow prospects.
Or a series of thought leadership articles to amplify your credibility.
I believe every business is essential, and I am here to help. Please don't hesitate to reach out at email@example.com.

Ability to explain complex concepts with direct and readable language
“Throughout my four decades in public service at the State and National levels, and exposure to all types of professionally drafted written communications, my strong opinion is Krista Gleason is by far one of the finest writers I have ever known.
“Krista combines her skill as a focused observer of the subject matter at hand with a unique appreciation of what must be communicated to achieve the underlying message. Krista’s ability to explain complex concepts with direct and easily readable language clearly distinguishes her from other writers. Krista is also thorough in her research and a genuine perfectionist.
“Krista Gleason’s writing style is by every measure outstanding, and I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend her services.”
- Michael Nozzolio, retired New York State Senator and Chairman, Locate Finger Lakes
Able to translate technical information into clear and simple terms
“Krista helped our IT organization strategize and create a user-friendly online IT Service Catalog—the first of its kind for our global technology company. The IT group can tend to talk in technical jargon and acronyms. She was able to translate technical information into clear and simple terms for our employees and provide an efficient, well-organized tool for them to navigate and understand our services. After launching the Service Catalog, calls to our IT Help Desk dropped significantly. Krista also helped us frame and tell the complex story of our massive IT infrastructure project, helping us craft a compelling narrative that won us a Project of the Year award.”
- John Milazzo, CIO, Kodak Alaris
Feature writing was 100 percent on target
“Before I founded Avanti Entrepreneur Network, I published a national magazine. Krista is among the best writers I've worked with. Her feature writing for Avanti was 100 percent on target to our small to mid-stage business audience. Her first draft is the final piece.”
- David Mammano, founder and CEO, Avanti Entrepreneur Network
Stories are well-written, enjoyable to read, colorful and always right on point
“Krista Gleason has been a freelance writer for us for a couple of years now, and her work really is a tremendous contribution to our newspaper. Her stories are not only well written, but they are enjoyable to read, colorful and always right on point. She has contributed to two of our publications that have won New York News Publisher Association awards, and we hope—for the sake of our readers—that she continues to write engaging, entertaining feature stories for us for a long, long time."
- Mike Cutillo, Executive Editor, Finger Lakes Times
Can count on her to get things right the first time
“Krista delivers clean, well-written stories on time (even early!), which is tremendously valuable for a busy editor like me. She also listens expertly, so I know I can count on her to get things right the first time, just the way we’ve discussed. Easy and pleasant to work with: She has been a great find for us!”
- Mark Liu, Editor, Features and Custom Content, Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, Gannett Inc.
Created clear and compelling messages to engage our audience
“Krista was a key player in developing the messaging for the first annual FLX Women’s Women Rising conference. She helped us create clear and compelling messages for our audience, quickly and expertly wrote marketing copy for social media and our webpage, and assisted with media relations and press releases.
"We were promoting a new event that no one was familiar with and she was instrumental in communicating the true essence of our message to engage and energize our audience. I am convinced that much of our success in getting the community engaged was due to the messaging that Krista created! And if that weren’t enough, from start to finish she was attentive, responsive and a very knowledgeable guide to keep our messages on target!”
- Kristen Fragnoli, founder, FLX Women

How you communicate says a lot about your business. I help companies and their leaders communicate clearly, simply and effectively. I offer writing and proofreading services, and can assist you with crafting your strategy.
Consider me a trusted extension of your team. My job is to make your job easier.
My communications philosophy is "keep it simple." That doesn't mean writing down to your audience, but providing them with the essential information they need to do whatever it is you want them to do.
Prior to starting Gleason Writes, I worked at Kodak, helping lead corporate, consumer and commercial business communications. Before that, I held top communications positions with elected officials at the state and local government levels.
I am a recipient of the 2012 Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 award, and have received local and national awards from the Public Relations Society of America.
